EPFO: How to get online claim after account holder death

If you do not know, then this news is of your use. In fact, upon the death of the account holder, the Employees Provident Fund organization gives the entire amount of EPF to the nominee.

There is also an e-nomination facility for EPF members to fill the nomination form, besides there is an online provision for EPF death clearance claim by the beneficiary.
E-enrollment facility is available on the EPFO portal. Any member who has an Aadhaar card and UAN number can avail this facility. Any EPFO holder can go online and change or update the name of Beneficiary or Nominee. Keep in mind that the process of e-nomination is only for Aadhaar card users.
The beneficiary has to fill the member nominee form 10D, 20 and 5IF. If the account holder dies, the nominee or beneficiary can submit the EPF Composite Death Claim Form based on the OTP on their Aadhaar linked mobile. Apart from this, beneficiary or nominee can also submit death claim form in offline mode.
